Link tools are a broad category of tools that cover the discovery, analysis and reporting on of a range of website links (e.g. backlinks, outbound links, internal site links etc). 5) Link suggestion generator – find sites that are linking to other sites based on the keyword you are interested in e.g. you can find sites that are linking on “SEO” or “Asthma” or indeed any other term you may be interested in. The clear advantage of this tool is that you can find out about the sites that linking to the keyword you have chosen. In addition to this these links are using relevant terms in the anchor text (which is important for SEO) as this is how they are discovered by the toll in the first place.

6) Multiple Back link checker – in essence exactly the same as a backlink checker tool but which checks multiple search engine sat once (as opposed to focusing on just one search engine for the results)

7) No Follow Finder – This tool helps you to find out those sites that use no follow tags in their links. This is useful to find out as links that use the no follow tag are not as useful for SEO purposes. This is particularly relevant if you have purchased backlinks or are involved in reciprocal linkage schemes.

Reciprocal Link Checker – these tools check that sites that say they are linking to you actually are linking. Further, these tools can effortlessly confirm that the links are in order if have bought backlinks or if you are involved in reciprocal linkage schemes.

In summary link tools offer a range of useful functions for finding and checking a range of link types and should be in the toolbox of everyone who is interested in SEO.
